Fred Curtis Thrasher

A graveside service for Fred Curtis Thrasher, 82, of Hartselle will be Thursday (today), Oct. 20, at 11 a.m. at Forrest Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Tucker officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Thrasher died Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at his residence. He was born Jan. 25, 1923 in Morgan County to William Mert Thrasher and Hettie Norwood Thrasher. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Thrasher and two sisters, Annabelle Thrasher Tucker Harris and May Thrasher White.
He is survived by four sons, Curtis Ray Thrasher Crumpton of White Sulfur Springs, W. Va., William Lewis Thrasher of Decatur and Carl Edward Thrasher and Tony Curtis Thrasher, both of Hartselle; two sisters, Jane Thrasher Echols and Alma Thrasher Rotton, both of Hartselle; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
