Funeral for Evie Louise Eddy Smith, 89, of Hartselle was Sunday, Nov. 6, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paul O'Neil officiating.
Burial was in Center Cemetery in Bankhead Forest.
Mrs. Smith died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2005, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buford H. Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God.
She is survived by a daughter, Freda S. Junkins and husband Jerry of Hartselle; a sister, Verbie Melson of Moulton; five grandchildren, Terry Wayne Black of Hartselle, Tammy Lynn Black of Crane Hill, Theresa Dianna Johnson of Huntsville, Timothy Lee Junkins of Hiram, Ga. and Angela Denise Banberg of Stafford, Va.; five great-grandchildren, Ryan, Hunter, Holli, Ian and Zachary.
Pallbearers were nephews.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley or to the American Cancer Society.
