Funeral for Lee Cooke, 59, of Hartselle was Wednesday, November 23, at 11:00 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Robert Steadham and James Mears officiating.
Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery in Somerville.
Mrs. Cooke died Monday, November 21, 2005, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born August 13, 1946 to the late William Mears and Earline Coane Mears.
She was a member of Mt. Olive Full Gospel Church and was preceded in death by a son, Shane Edmondson Cooke and a brother, Hershell Mears.
She is survived by her husband, Howard H. Cooke of Hartselle; two daughters, Mavis Brown of Falkville and Tammy Steele of Cullman; four brothers, James Mears of Falkville, Charles Mears and Alvie Mears, both of Russellville, and Ralph Mears; a sister, Francis Leeth of Falkville; four grandchildren, Shane Edmondson Cooke, Jeff Tidwell, Gene Tidwell and Bo Leeth.
Pallbearers were Jeff Tidwell, Gene Tidwell, Bo Leeth, Joseph Mears, Nathon Riggins and Jarrat West.
