Great news! A new opportunity to meet and network with other businesses in the Hartselle area is now available. Networking @ Noon is a free luncheon where business owners/managers have one minute to stand and showcase their business. The luncheon sponsor has five minutes to spotlight their business. This is a great opportunity for you to meet other business people in the Hartselle area and increase your visibility. Everyone with a business in the Hartselle area is invited to attend. Non-Chamber members may attend two times before becoming Chamber members. Seating is limited, so be sure to get your reservation in early. Networking @ Noon is held the last Wednesday each month at noon at the Depot. Be sure to bring your business cards, an appetite and wear a smile. This month's sponsor is Gold Mine Jewelry with pizza from Pizza Inn. For more information or to make your reservation, please call the Chamber at 773-4370.
Looking for fun this fall? North Alabama offers tourists more than ever by visiting the Trails of North Alabama. These trails were focused on at the Alabama Mountain Lakes Association annual meeting. There are currently eight trails in Alabama – The Alabama Civil Rights Museum Trail, Civil War Trail, Native American Trail, Fall Color Trail, Alabama Birding Trail, Covered Bridge Trail, the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail and Alabama's Hunting and Fishing Trail for People with Disabilities.
There will be four more trails added to this list soon – the Civil Rights Trail Web Page, Bass Trail, Quail Trail and the Hallelujah Trail.
The Hallelujah Trail is extra special because we have a number of churches and a tabernacle in the Hartselle area that will be on this trail.
The Hallelujah Trail will be a trail of churches that are 50 years old and older and still in use. Your help is needed for the Hallelujah Trail.
If you have information on a church in our area, please write it down and be sure to include your name and phone number. Then turn the information in to the Chamber so we can get as many as possible on the trail. This is a long process and getting a good start on gathering the information is important. We appreciate any and every piece of information you can offer.
All Chamber members watch your mail regarding two new benefits. A partnership with the U.S. Chamber and a discount program with Auto-Owners Insurance are in the works.
Watch for more on these new benefits!
