Funeral for Rebecca Steele, 57, of Decatur was Monday, Dec. 12, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Charles Christmas officiating.
Burial was in Friendship Cemetery, south of Danville.
Mrs. Steele, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. She was born Feb. 16, 1948, in Houston County to Joseph E. Christmas and Miriam R. Hicks Christmas.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin Joseph Steele of Decatur; a son, Blake Hall of Florence; two stepdaughters, Dana Hill and Maria Blaxton, both of Danville; her parents, Joe and Miriam Hicks of Cottonwood; two sisters, Sheryl Christmas and Patricia Carter, both of Cottonwood; two grandchildren; two nephews; and one great-nephew.
