Lois Chenault Kirby

Funeral for Lois Chenault Kirby, 90, of Hartselle was Monday, Dec. 19, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Smith and Bro. Gerald Kirby officiating. Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Kirby died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005, at Athens Convalescent Center. She was a homemaker and a member of West End United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Orville Kirby. She is survived by four sons, John Kirby and Randy Kirby, both of Hartselle, Orbin Kirby of Montana and Ken Kirby of Huntsville; three daughters, Betty Hill, Shirley Townsend and Joann Martin, all of Athens; two brothers, Chester Chenault of Decatur and John Chenault of Hartselle; three sisters, Beatrice Johnson of Gulf Shores, Thelma Sandlin and Mae Sue Fields, both of Hartselle; 23 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were her grandsons.
