Funeral for Mary Frances Adams Bennett, 85, of Lilburn, Ga., was Monday, Dec. 19, at 11 a.m. at Bill Head Funeral Home, Lilburn/ Tucker Chapel in Tucker, Ga., with the Rev. Chuck Moates and Mrs. Susan Rumble officiating.
Burial was Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 10 a.m. in Graceville Cemetery in Graceville, Fla. Mrs. Bennett died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005, at Embracing Hospice in Snellville, Ga., of complications from high blood pressure. She married the Rev. Hal D. Bennett of Danville, in 1939. She is survived by three sons, Hal Bennett Jr. of Gulf Shores, Tom Bennett of Lilburn, Ga. and Tim Bennett of Bluffton, S.C.; and their wives, Carolyn Lorraine and Lynnettte, respectively; a brother, George Adams and wife Charlotte of Leeds; two sisters, Jane Watson of Westavia and Sarah Bentley of Dora; two grandchildren, Bryan Bennett of Gulf Shores and Susan Bennett of Brooklyn. N.Y.; and a great-grandchild, Maren Grace Bennett of Gulf Shores.
