Funeral for Mary Gladys Campbell, 98, of Decatur was Thursday, Jan. 5, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dennis Griffith, Joe Southerland and Willie King officiating.
Burial was in Salem Cemetery.
Mrs. Campbell died Wednesday, January 4, 2006, at her residence. She was born Oct. 27, 1907, in Shelby County to George Washington Roy and Lydia Snow Roy. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Campbell Sr., a son, John W. Campbell Jr., and two grandsons, Larry Campbell and Bob Peck. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Faye Peck of Decatur.
