Funeral for Aubrey J. "Jack" Hill, 75, of Falkville was Sunday, Jan. 29, at 2 p.m. at Hills Chapel Church of God with the Revs. Fred Nichols and Jerry Fleming officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Hill died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, at his residence. He was born Nov. 14, 1930, in Morgan County to William Benjamin Hill and Myrtle McNalley Hill.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gwendolene Hill of Falkville; three sons, Jerry Hill and wife Ramona of Falkville, Phillip Hill and wife Angela of Eva and Christopher Hill of Falkville; three daughters, Diane Bansemer of Falkville, Deborah Myres and husband Sam of Falkville and Reta Boutwell and husband Gene of Decatur; a sister, Virginia Sartin of Hartselle; eight grandchildren, Brandon Myres and wife Misty, Blake Myres and wife Holly, Alicia Sorrell and husband Joshua, Anna Howell and husband Scott, Nick Hill, Jarod Hill, Chad Hill and Jacob Hill; two great-grandchildren, Brayden Myres and Abby Myres.
Pallbearers were Brandon Myres, Blake Myres, Nick Hill, Jarod Hill and Scott Howell.
Honorary pallbearers were Jacob Hill and Chad Hill.
