Funeral for Ella Jane Thompson, 79, of Decatur was Sunday, Feb. 5, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hal Warren officiating.
Burial was in New Friendship Cemetery.
Ms. Thompson died Friday, Feb. 3, 2006, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born March 30, 1926, in Morgan County to Pat Thompson and Nova Lee Leemon Thompson. She was a homemaker and took care of her mother. She retired as a dietician supervisor at Parkway Medical Center after 23 years of service. She was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher.
She is survived by three brothers, James A. Thompson, Hugh L. Thompson and Thomas Henry Thompson, all of Decatur.
