Bobby Joe Ransom

Funeral for Bobby Joe Ransom, 55, of Somerville was Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with a military chaplain officiating.
Burial was in New Friendship Cemetery with full military honors.
Mr. Ransom died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at his residence. She was born March 30, 1950, in Morgan County to Woodrow W. Ransom and Flora Lee Blankenship Ransom. He was the fourth generation to serve in the U.S. Army beginning with his great-grandfather in the Civil War. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John Ransom and Ronnie Ransom.
He is survived by a brother, Conley Ransom and wife Sharon of Somerville; and a half sister, Laura Dean of Huntsville.
Military personnel served as pallbearers.
