Funeral for Ethel Mae Braswell, 87, of Falkville was Saturday, March 11, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dub Williams officiating.
Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Braswell died Thursday, March 9, 2006, at Falkville Healthcare Center. She was born Sept. 25, 1918, in Cullman County to Henry H. Wilcutt and Hattie Lou Lanier Wilcutt. She was a member of Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband J.P. Braswell.
She is survived by two sons, Sherrell Holaway and wife Barbara and Roger Holaway, all of Hartselle; two daughters, Wilma Hall and husband Levoid of Falkville and Jane Hill and husband Wayne of Hartselle; a sister, Macie W. Wilcutt of Scottsboro; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were her grandsons.
