Hartselle man arrested in sting

A Hartselle man was arrested last week after officers with the Decatur Police Department's Organized Crime Unit found cocaine in his apartment.
Rodney Darnell Lampkin, 32, of 601 Brewer Street in Hartselle, is charged with trafficking cocaine, first degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. On March 22, agents seized more than an ounce of powder cocaine during a raid at Lampkin's apartment. Prescription pills and drug sale paraphernalia were also found during a related search of 3120 Sumac Road SW, Apt. C-1.
Lampkin was taken to Morgan County Jail where he later posted $3,750 bond.
