Staff Reports, Hartselle Enquirer
The April 30 Decatur Tour of Homes is set to be one of the best and most successful in the history of the annual tours produced by the Decatur Women's Chamber of Commerce.
The tour will be in the historic Albany district in Decatur with the Garden Party at the Delano Park pavilion just off 6th Avenue. Proceeds from the Tour of Homes will benefit the All Children's Playground at Delano Park. This wonderful playground will provide a place for children with wheelchairs and other physical disabilities to participate in playground activities. Call Karen Tidwell, Tour of Homes chair, at 340-9139 for more information.
The Garden Party will provide samples of the luscious cakes featured in the "Tour of E-Z Cakes Cookbook" produced for sale with the proceeds of the cookbook going to benefit Meals on Wheels Program in Morgan County. Recipes are provided by members of the Women's Chamber.
The cookbooks are $5 each and are available now from Diane Scanland, chair of the cookbook committee, at 566-9268 and Gail Green, Chamber president, at 353-2924.
