Funeral for J. C. Vinson, 67, of Falkville was Saturday, April 1, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Milan Dekich officiating.
Burial was in Falkville City Cemetery.
Mr. Vinson died Thursday, March 30, 2006, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 22, 1938, in Morgan County to Curtis Eugene Vinson and Vera A. Jackson Vinson, He worked at Ingalls shipyard for 25 years and was a member of the Church of God. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Wood.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Faye Puckett Vinson; a son, Pee Wee Vinson; three daughters, Charlene Mitchell, Debbie Wood and Teresa Barbee; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were his grandsons, Steve Wood, Luke Crider, Jimmy Barbee, Timothy Wood, Jody Wood and Randy Wood.
