Funeral for Carol Sanders, 55, of Somerville was Saturday, April 8, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Melvin Brown officiating,
Burial was in Valhermoso Baptist Cemetery.
Mrs. Sanders died Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at her residence. She was born August 27, 1950 in Morgan County to Cecil W. Smith and Grace Eula Stringer Smith. She was preceded in death by her mother. She was a member of the Holiness Church.
She is survived by a daughter, JoAnn Kent of Somerville; her father, Cecil W. Smith of Somerville; her mother, Lucille Smith of Somerville; and two sisters, Rita Lawrence of Rockford, Ill. and Janice Morrison of Somerville.
Pallbearers were family members and friends.
