James R. ‘Tony’ Anthony

Military graveside services for James R. “Tony” Anthony, 80, of Hartselle, will be held Thursday (today), April 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Peck Funeral directing.
Mr. Anthony died Monday, April 10, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Sept. 22, 1925, in Tenn. He was a veteran of World War II where he served in the U.S. Navy from Jan. 27, 1944 until honorably discharged March 24, 1946. He spent his last 20 years in the Augusta, Ga. area.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Sue Lawrence Anthony of Hartselle; three sons, Alan Anthony, Gary Anthony and Randy Anthony; two daughters, Gail Anthony and Debbie Prince; a step-daughter, Peggy Geer; a step-son Butch Dixon; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and eight step-grandchildren.
