P.D. "Goat" Weinman

A military graveside service for P.D. "Goat" Weinman was Wednesday, April 19, at 11 a.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with the Rev. Walter Blackmon officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Weinman died Monday, April 17, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Oct. 4, 1924, in Morgan County to Ernest Weinman and Ola Thompson Weinman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie White Weinman after 50 years of marriage; two brothers, Otto Weinman and J.D. "Chub" Weinman; two sisters, Dorothy Weinman and Lucille Lindsey. He was retired from BellSouth after 35 years of service. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the BellSouth Pioneers.
He is survived by two sons, Joe Weinman and wife Marsha of Conyers, Ga. and Doug Weinman and wife Bonnie of Hartselle; and four grandchildren, Bo Weinman of Smyrna, Ga., Brett Weinman of Conyers, Laura Bone and husband Zach of Trussville and Allison Weinman of Hartselle.
Pallbearers were Buddy Prince, Billy Lindsey Jr., Lee Weinman, Bo Weinman, Zach Bone and Marshal Lewey.
Honorary pallbearers were Carl Prince and J. P. Cain.
