Man dies in shooting, suspect in custody

An unidentified white male was shot in his home at 1300 Crestline Drive early Wednesday morning and later died at Decatur General Hospital.
The name of the victim had not been released at press time pending notification of kin. Updated information will be on www.hartselleenquirer.com as it becomes available.
Hartselle Police Chief Ron Puckett said police were called to the residence at about 2 a.m. in response to what they felt was a domestic incident. They were still working at the crime scene at 8 a.m.
"We have a suspect in custody at this time. He is a relative of the deceased," Puckett said.
