A graveside service for Annie L. Norwood Puckett, 85, of Marion, a former longtime resident of Hartselle, was Saturday, May 20, at 11 a.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with the Rev. Wilburn Clark officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Puckett died Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at Southland Nursing Home in Marion. She was born Oct. 19, 1920, to Clarence Hill Norwood and Ester Mattie Collins Norwood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Harold Puckett. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Hartselle.
She is survived by a son, David Harold Puckett Sr. and wife Becky of Marion; a sister, Catherine Hurst of Hartselle; a grandson, David Harold Puckett Jr. and wife Caren of Richmond, Va.; and three great grandchildren, Jessica Taylor, Justin Matthew and Jordan Rebecca Puckett.
