Carolyn Stewart McClanahan

A memorial service for Carolyn Stewart McClanahan, 76, of Hartselle was Tuesday, May 23, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Sparkman officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. McClanahan died Thursday, May 18, 2006. She was born March 2, 1930, to Simeon Edward Stewart Jr. and Clyde Tolleson Stewart. She graduated from Morgan County High School in 1948 and Auburn University in 1952. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold A. McClanahan Jr. She was a loving mother and wife and a member of First United Methodist Church in Hartselle.
She is survived by a son, H. Stewart McClanahan and wife Mary and their two children of Snellville, Ga.; a daughter, Martha M. Pierce and husband Ron and their three children of Richmond, Va.; and a sister, Martha S. Anson of Gilbert, Ark.
