Funeral for Shirley Jean Steele Gibson, 47, of Falkville was Saturday, May 20, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Pitts officiating.
Burial was in Piney Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Gibson died Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at her residence. She was born May 8, 1959, in Texas to Earnest Don Steele and Betty Jean Harris Steele. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Earnest Gregory Steele.
She is survived by her husband, Sherrill Gibson of Falkville; a son, Jonathan Wade Henderson of Hanceville; two daughters, Tracy Jean Randolph of Eva and Sonya Jean Gibson of Danville; her mother, Betty Jean Harris Steele of Vinemont; three brothers, Gary Don Steele of Clanton, James D. Steele of Danville and Christopher Scott Steele of Vinemont; six grandchildren, Lance Gibson, Jonathan Dodd, Erin Randolph, Allie Randolph, Hailee Eaton and Nathan James Henderson; two nieces, Shea Steele and Breanna Steele; and four nephews, Austin Rogers, Randy Rogers, Chris Rogers and Jimmy Rogers.
Pallbearers were Junior Steele, Danny Don Steele, Kenny Weeks, Troy Neal Steele, Wayne Howard and Tommy Stafford.
