Funeral for Mavis Sandlin, 89, of Hartselle was Tuesday, May 30, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Roundtop Cemetery.
Mrs. Sandlin died Saturday, May 27, 2005, at Falkville Healthcare Center. She was born October 27, 1916 in Lauderdale County to William M. McCarley and Ruthie Jane Dean McCarley. She was a homemaker and a Methodist.
She is survived by three sons, Howard Sandlin and Herman W. Sandlin, both of Falkville, and James W. Sandlin of Lynn, Mass.; a daughter, Betty F. Wilhite of Hartselle; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
