Underage patrons arrested at club

Several area residents were among those arrested when investigators found underage people at a Decatur nightclub last week.
Decatur police inspected New Frontier Nightclub May 17. Following the inspection, police issued a warrant for manager Charles Robert Ellis, 36, of Falkville, charging him with allowing minors on club premises.
Club employee Shaline Joyce Wiley of Hartselle was arrested for being a minor in possession of alcohol. She is 20 years old. Alabama law requires someone to be 21 in order to work in an establishment that serves alcohol.
Two underage club patrons, one 18 and another 19, were also arrested. Both were from Hartselle. The 18-year-old's mother, who was also at the club, was arrested on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
