Wet your hook during free fishing day

Looking to make the catch of a lifetime? You will have your chance June 10 during the state's Free Fishing Day. The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has set aside June 10 as Free Fishing Day. Anglers can fish public waters without a fishing license on that date. Some lakes may still require fees and permits, and owner's permission is required to fish private ponds.
