Funeral for Flaudy Elton Hardin, 88, of Falkville was Tuesday, June 6, at 4 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Greg Compton officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mr. Hardin died Saturday, June 3, 2006, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Jan. 13, 1918, in Morgan County to Edgar Melvin Hardin and Katie Lou Minter Hardin. He was a farmer and was the oldest member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for 40 years. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Warren Hardin and Ralph Hardin.
He is survived by his wife, Hattie Mae Stover Hardin of Falkville; a daughter, Katie Sue Hardin of Falkville; a sister, Vida Mae Hardin Chandler of Hartselle, a grandson, Barry Shannon Hardin and wife Tina; one great-grandson, Harrison McClintock Hardin; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Barry Hardin, Ken Hardin, Wayne Hardin, Junior Stover, Donnie McDonald, Herman Hardin and Jim Bramlett.
