Funeral for Wilma Jean Parker, 73, of Town Creek was Wednesday, June 7, at 11 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Mike Hendon and David Weaver officiating.
Burial was in Providence Cemetery in Town Creek.
Mrs. Parker died Monday, June 5, 2006, at her residence. She was born Dec. 22, 1932, to W. C. Summers and Ila Summers. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Palmer Parker and her parents.
She is survived by a son, Dr. David Parker, pastor of McKendree United Methodist Church, and wife Wanda of Danville; three sisters, Thelma Brackin of Muscle Shoals and Bobbie Flanagan and Cleo Sizemore, both of Hatton.
Pallbearers were nephews and great nephews.
