Funeral for Lois A. Datman West of Glencoe will be Thursday (today), June 22, at Crestwood Funeral Home Chapel in Gadsden with Bro. Larry Everett officiating.
Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. West died Sunday, June 18, 2006, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by a brother, Leon Garfield and a step-grandson, Bryce Lewis.
She is survived by her husband, Roland F. West; three daughters, Janelle Merrel and husband Frankie of Hartselle, Sonya Austin and husband Lowell Jr. and Dawn Twilley and husband Scott, all of Fort Payne; her father, Maynard C. Arney; her mother, Eunice Petrie; two step-daughters, Roninna Jakway and Sera (Fitzgerald) Lewis, both of Callahan, Fla.; nine grandchildren; her mother-in-law, Ethel R. West; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Randy and Lark McClendon.
