A graveside service for David James Purser, 52, of Haleyville was Wednesday, June 28, at 2 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Nichols Funeral Home of Haleyville directing.
Mr. Purser died Saturday, June 24, 2006, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sarah L. Purser.
He is survived by a son, Brian David Purser and wife Pam of Cullman; a daughter, Jennifer Alexis Walker Leath of Hartselle; three brothers, Ricky Purser and wife Tracy of Vinemont, Larry Purser and wife Lori of Arizona and Richard Purser of Irondale; two sisters, Gail Moody and husband Ted of Irondale and Brenda Royster of Cullman; three grandchildren, Rena Walker, Kayla Robertson and Noah Purser; and special cousin Jimmy Nichols.
