Funeral for Dennis Garrison, 87, of Huntsville was Monday, June 12, at 10 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home in Huntsville with the Rev. Eddie Hilderbrand and Dr. Walter Nunn officiating.
Burial followed in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
Mr. Garrison died Friday, June 9, 2006, at a local hospital. He was a native of Moulton and a resident of Madison County for 61 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in World War II with Company C, 151st Engineers, and a member of University Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Garrison of Huntsville; two sons, Carl Garrison and wife Anne of Sugar Land, Tex., and Billy Garrison and wife Carol of McDonough, Ga.; three brothers, Marshall and Mize Garrison, both of Hartselle and Bobby Garrison of Waterford, Mich.; three sisters, Lydia Tyler of Hartselle, Carrie Lee Thompson of Nashville and Fran Jenkins of St. Joseph, Mich.; three grandsons, Grant, Michael and Brian Garrison; a granddaughter, Denise Garrison; and five great-grandchildren, Brett and Reiley and Emily, Samuel and Leah.
