Funeral for M. M. "Mack" Patterson, 87, of Hartselle was Monday, July 3, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Anthony Patterson officiating.
Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery.
Mr. Patterson died Saturday, July 1, 2006, at his residence. He was born June 30, 1919, in Morgan County to Malcolm Maurice Patterson and Hattie Elora Entrekin Patterson. He was a self-employed home builder and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Son Rise Baptist Church of Hartselle. He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Annette Kyle Patterson; three sisters; and a brother.
He is survived by a son, David Patterson of Hartselle; five daughters, Judy Lett, Susan Mayes and Cindy, Murphy, all of Hartselle, Janice Bowers of Mobile and Carol Jarrett of Danville; a brother, Joe C. Patterson of Hartselle; a sister, Marie Garlington of Hartselle; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were nephews.
