Funeral for Mary Ida Waugh, 71, of Falkville will be Thursday (today), July 6, at Emerson's Funeral Home in Arkansas with Loretta Book officiating.
Burial will be in Caraway City Cemetery in Arkansas.
Peck Funeral Home handled local arrangements.
Mrs. Waugh died Saturday, July 1, 2006, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born June 7, 1935, in Morgan County to Jessie Pennington and Lillie Bell Hicks. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. L. "Pank" Waugh; two sons, Jerry Waugh and Larry Waugh; two great-granddaughters; and two sisters, Beaula Brinkley and Doris McClahan.
She is survived by five sons, Charles Waugh of Vendale, Ariz., Ricci Waugh of Caraway, Ark., Jimmy Waugh of West Virginia and Mike Waugh and Jody Waugh, both of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; a daughter, Melissa Waugh Harris of Falkville; a brother, Jessie "Bud" Pennington of Indiana; a sister, Bonnie Hensley of Texas; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren
Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.
