Funeral for Mary Taylor Speakman, 76, of Hartselle was Saturday, July 1, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Lummie Speakman and Frank Speakman officiating.
Burial was in Powell's Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Speakman died Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born September 12, 1929, in Franklin County to Jessie Newton Taylor and Nannie Janie Naymon Taylor.
She is survived by three sons, Ollie Jr. Speakman of Tullahoma, Tenn. and Stanley Allen Speakman and Danny Speakman, both of Hartselle; two daughters, Judy Crowe and Donna Jo Speakman, both of Hartselle; a brother, Charles Taylor of Hartselle; two sisters, Beatrice Davis of Huntland, Tenn. and Roberta Bates of Falkville; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
