Funeral for Carolyn C. Williams, 85, of Vinemont was Saturday, July 8, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Wayne Penn and Paul Caudle officiating.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery in Vinemont.
Mrs. Williams died Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at Falkville Healthcare Center. She was born Sept.10, 1921, in Sylacauga to Earl Coker Caudle and Etta Ann Fields Caudle. She was a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Vinemont where she worked with the youth for many years. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and cooking and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Williams.
She is survived by a son, Sam Williams and wife Robin of Fairhope; two daughters, Mary Wilhite and husband Chuck of Hartselle and Carol Henshaw and husband Bobby of Vaiden, Miss.; three brothers, Tom Caudle and wife Celia of Vinemont, Noel Caudle and wife Ermaline of Eva and Jerry Caudle and wife Mary Ann of Cullman; a sister, Bettye Blumhagen of Vinemont; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Vic Lyle, Terry Lyle, Kent Gable, Keith Caudle, Danny Holmes and Steve Caudle.
