Funeral for Charles Ray Cooper, 55, of Falkville was Saturday, July 8, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joey Coots officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mr. Cooper died Thursday, July 6, 2006, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born March 9, 1951, in Lawrence County to Marvin C. Cooper and Margie I. Dobbins Shaddix. He served in the Alabama National Guard for six years.
He is survived by a son, Thomas Ray Cooper and wife Ashley of Hartselle; his mother, Margie I. Shaddix of Falkville; a brother, Farron Dean Cooper and wife Janice of Falkville; a sister, Alene Vest of Falkville; and two nephews and four nieces.
Pallbearers were Donnie Jones, Freddie Puckett, Felix Hardin, Johnny Dobbins, Randy Hensley and Terry Miller.
