Ready to strike a pose? Here's your chance. America's Next Top Model, a UPN show, will be looking for contestants in Decatur.
America's Next Top Model follows a group of young women with various backgrounds, shapes and sizes who live together in one New York apartment and vie for a modeling contract.
The casting call will be held July 28 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Point Mallard's Ice Complex.
Candidates must be ladies, 18 – 27 years old and 5 feet 7 inches or taller. Each woman should bring three photos: one close-up of face, one full body photo and one swimsuit photo.
In addition to this modeling casting call, Point Mallard Aquatic Center will host its own Model Search the same day for women ages 18 and older and no height requirements. Models will be photographed using the park's scenic backdrops, and judged on their photogenic ability. One winner will receive more than $1,000 in prizes including a professional make-up session and photo shoot and will be used in upcoming advertising for the park.
The park will also conduct a Teen Model search on Aug. 19 for boys and girls ages 13-17 and a model search for kids ages 3-12 on Sept. 2. All model search contests are free to park patrons.
Winners of the park's contests will be used in a variety of Point Mallard's 2007 advertising campaigns which include brochures, print advertising, billboards and television commercials.
