CERT training offered to residents

The Volunteer Center of Morgan County has established a partnership with the Morgan County Emergency Management Office to offer CERT (Community Emergency Response Training) for Morgan County residents.
The CERT Program educates people about disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. The first training session is Monday, Aug.7, 5-8 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Hartselle. Sessions will continue each week through Oct. 2.
