Funeral for Charles W. Bracken, 77, of Hartselle will be Thursday, July 20, at 10 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Brown and Geoff Halbrooks officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Bracken died Monday, July 17, 2006, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Sept. 28, 1928, in Morgan County to Douglas Bracken and Willie Mae Reeves Bracken. He was a farmer and a member of New Center Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian B. Bracken of Hartselle; a daughter, Jeaneen B. Dean and husband Larry of Hartselle; two brothers, Hoyt Bracken of Hartselle and Sherrill Dean Bracken of Decatur; two sisters, Bertie Lee Johnson of Hartselle and Margaret Flannagin of Moulton; two grandsons, Patrick Dean and wife Kelly and Matthew Dean and wife April; and one great-granddaughter, Taylor Dean.
Pallbearers will be Jimmie Halbrooks, Tommy Halbrooks, Wayne Green, David Blankenship, Randy Whitten and Dewain Keel.
Memorials may be made to New Center Baptist Church Building Fund.
