James Harland 'Shorty' Brasseale

Funeral for James Harland "Shorty" Brasseale, 67, of Decatur was Wednesday, July 26, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ronnie Bullard and Greg Alred officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Brasseale died Monday, July 24, 2006, at his residence. He was born July 28, 1938, in Morgan County to John Allen Brasseale and Ruby Mae Eubank Brasseale. He was a security guard. His father preceded him in death.
He is survived by his mother, Ruby Brasseale of Decatur; a brother, John W. Brasseale of Somerville; two nieces, Pamela Brasseale Hester and Kim Brasseale; a great-niece, Senay Hester; and a great-nephew, Hunter Hester.
Pallbearers were Roy Traynom, Charlie Thompson, Vann Smith, Greg Tucker, John D. Traynom and Hunter Hester.
