Funeral for Robert Eugene Presley, 75, of Hartselle was Sunday, July 30, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Allen Host officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Presley died Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born April 12, 1931, in Memphis, Tenn. to John D. Presley and Ruby Coleman Presley. He moved to Hartselle from Memphis in 2001 and was retired from the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers.
He is survived by two sons, John D. Presley of Duncan, Ariz. and James D. Presley of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Susan P. Sampey of Marrero, La. and Robin P. Terry of Hartselle; a brother, Sammy Presley of Cordova, Tenn.; a sister, Ellen P. Bell of Bythalia, Miss.; eighth grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Cody Presley, Ricky LaGrasse, David LaGrasse, Mitch LaGrasse, Mark LaGrasse, David Shipman and Darryl Terry.
