Falkville man killed in industrial accident

Funeral services were held on Saturday for a Falkville man who was killed in an industrial accident at a Decatur steel manufacturing plant.
Jeremiah Nathanial Brown, 29, died Aug. 2 after being injured at Steel Related Technology of Decatur.
Decatur police said Brown was operating a crane when a cable attached to a steel beam broke, striking him.
Brown was taken via Med Flight to Huntsville Hospital where he died.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the accident.
Brown was a former member of the Falkville Volunteer Fire Department and attended Round Top Community Church. His survivors include his wife, Felicia, and twin daughters, Kayla and Kaden. He was buried at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
