Funeral for Jack Curtis Templeton, 89, of Hartselle was Saturday, Aug. 12, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jeff Redmond officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mr. Templeton died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2006, at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born April 8, 1917, in Morgan County to Ernest N. Templeton and Clara Walker Templeton. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and was retired from Wolverine Tube. He had served on the Hartselle City Council and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hartselle. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Orr Templeton.
He is survived by a son, Jack Charles Templeton of Hartselle; two daughters, Janice Templeton Gay of Hartselle and Ada Templeton Alvis of Arlington, Tex.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were family members.
Honorary pallbearers were Tom Drinkard, Earl Cook, Charles Quinn, Eual Blackwood, Thomas Kay and Jerry Wilson.
