Funeral for Peggy Ann Young, 55 of Falkville was Sunday, Aug. 13, at 2 p.m. at Hills Chapel Church of God with the Rev. Fred Nichols officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in New Hope North Cemetery in Falkville.
Mrs. Young died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born June 25, 1951, in Tennessee to James Frank Scott and Ella Mae Scott. She was a member of Hills Chapel Church of God. She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Michael Scott.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy R. Young of Falkville; a son, Jeffrey R. Young and wife Toni of Falkville; two daughters, Kristi Goodwin and husband Brian of Falkville and Jennifer Chenault and husband Ronald of Hartselle; her mother, Ella Mae Scott of Falkville; five brothers, George Scott of Albany, Ga., James Scott of Decatur, Donald Scott of Hartselle and David Scott and Tommy Scott, both of Falkville; three sisters, Shirley Murray of Cullman, Mary Pierce of Vinemont and Shelia Young of Falkville; and two grandchildren, Jonathan Goodwin and Kelsi Young.
Pallbearers were Jason Pierce, John Scott, Brian Scott Josh Scott, Tim Scott, Kevin Murray, Chris Scott and Shawn Scott.
