Donald Weeks has been appointed head football coach at Priceville High School. He follows in the footsteps of Marty Chambers who resigned to take a teaching and assistant coaching position at West Morgan High School.
He assumed the position on August 11 after serving the school for three years as an assistant football and basketball coach.
Weeks has 13 years of experience as an assistant football coach. He served on the coaching staff at Vina and Curry for two and seven years, respectively, before coming to Priceville. He is a native of Cullman County and a graduate of Cold Springs High School. He received a B.S. degree in education from Auburn University in 1993 and a masters degree in education from the same university in 1997.
He and his wife, Dynette, who also is a certified teacher, are the parents of a four-months-old daughter, Elizabeth. They live in Hartselle.
