Funeral for Harrell DeFoe, 63, of Vinemont was Friday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m. at Mount Vernon Methodist Church in Cullman County with the Rev. Gary Milligan officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. DeFoe died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Nov. 15, 1942, in Morgan County to Acie Howard DeFoe and Martha Adline Collins DeFoe. He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank DeFoe.
He is survived by a former wife and best friend, Janis DeFoe of Addison; two sons, Wayne DeFoe and wife Meredith of Holly Pond and Christopher David DeFoe and wife Becky of Vinemont; a daughter, Hope Denise Conners of Vinemont; a brother, Tommy DeFoe of Hartselle; four sisters, Sue Clemons of Decatur, Betty Warren of Trinity, Nancy Walker of Hartselle and Sandra Morgan of Cullman; seven grandchildren, Justin, Brittany, Jonathan, Christina, Jasmine, Courtney and Cole; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Danny Burden, Larry Burden and Chris Segars.
