James Taylor Livingstone

Funeral for James Taylor Livingstone of Decatur was Monday, Aug. 28, at 10 a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Decatur with the Rev. David Rollins officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Hollywood Cemetery in Wartrace, Tenn.
Mr. Livingstone died Friday, Aug. 25, 2006 at Riverside Senior Living in Decatur. He was the son of the late George Livingstone and Catherine Clarkson Livingstone and was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Neel Livingstone.
Mr. Livingstone was a longtime resident of Nashville, Tenn. where he graduated from Duncan Preparatory School and Vanderbilt University. He retired from Genesco, Inc. after 45 years of service.
He is survived by a daughter, Beth Livingstone Roberts of Decatur; a son, James Stephens Livingstone and wife Jean of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren, Catherine Livingstone Collins of Dallas, Texas, Robert Brian Livingstone of Franklin, Tenn. and Taylor Davis Roberts and Dr. Michael Neel Roberts, both of Decatur; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James G. Moore III, Dean Collins, George Brantly, Dennis Brantly, Clyde Redford, Dr. Neel Roberts, Taylor Roberts and Brian Livingstone.
