Funeral for Jessie Mae Brewer, 79, of Hartselle was Sunday, Aug. 27, at 4 p.m. at Hartselle Church of Christ with Phillip Hines officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Brewer died Friday, Aug. 25, 2006, at her residence. She was born Aug. 4, 1927, in Lawrence County to Jesse Grimes and Flossie Rouse Grimes. She was a member of Hartselle Church of Christ for 45 years and was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Arthur Grimes; and a sister, Dixie Stephenson.
She is survived by her husband, Gentry G. Brewer of Hartselle; a son, Gentry Lee Brewer of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; a daughter, F. Paulette McWilliams of Greenbelt, Md.; three brothers, J.W. Grimes of Mt. Hope, Prentice Grimes of Moulton and Granville Grimes of Hartselle; and a granddaughter, Miai Anne McWilliams.
Pallbearers were Greg Grimes, Jeff Grimes, Barry Stephenson, Blake Tanner, Stephen Brewer and Lannie Brewer.
Honorary pallbearers were elders and deacons of Hartselle Church of Christ.
