Funeral for Kathleen McCaghren, 86, of Danville was Monday, Aug. 28, at 11 a.m. at Enon Baptist Church with the Revs. C. G. Redding and Wayne Penn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. McCaghren died Friday, Aug. 25, 2006, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Nov. 3, 1919, in Lawrence County to Robert and Murty Wilburn Hensley. She was a homemaker and member of Enon Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orval McCaghren; three brothers, Otto Hensley, Clarence Hensley and James Hensley; and a sister, Ora Myers.
She is survived by a son, Mike McCaghren and wife Lisa of Danville; a daughter, Pat Hall and husband Roy of Danville; two brothers, Waymon Hensley and Delmar Ray Hensley, both of Danville; four sisters, Lavern Sanford of Danville, Ozelle Harrison and Foree Porter, both of Hartselle, and Ruby Jenkins of Florida; four grandchildren, Cindy Turney, Kelly McCaghren, Tracy McCaghren and Savannah Moore; and a great- grandchild, Jordan Turney.
Pallbearers were deacons of Enon Baptist Church.
