Funeral for Joy Ellawee Mason, 73, of Somerville was Monday, Sept. 4, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Michael Mason and Dewitt Crowe officiating.
Burial was in Center Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Mason died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital.
She was born July 1, 1933, in Morgan County to Luther Breeding and Mary Holmes Breeding.
She was a member of Center Springs United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis Mason of Somerville; a son, Rev. Michael Mason and wife Crystal of Somerville; a daughter, Diana Perkins and husband Johnny of Danville; a brother, Donald Breeding and wife B.J. of Decatur; five grandchildren, Alyssa Mason, Garrett Mason and Kandi Berry, Will McSpaden and Kala Perkins.
Pallbearers were Will McSpaden, Randy Berry, Randy Breeding, Iris Winton, Stanley Butler and John Turney.
