Funeral for Bill Goodner, 71, of Lacey’s Spring was Wednesday, Sept. 13, at 10 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Morrow officiating.
Burial was in Valhermoso Springs Holiness Cemetery.
Mr. Goodner died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, in Huntsville He was a truck driver and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Calvary Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife Mary Goodner of Huntsville; a son, Paul Goodner of Orange Beach; two step-sons, J. A. Sasser of Lacey’s Spring and John Sasser of Madison; three step-daughters, Diane Jolly of Lacey’s Spring, Darlene Baxter of Bartlett, Tenn. and Cindy Barber of Huntsville; two brothers, Carl Goodner of Lacey’s Spring and Stanley Goodner of Valhermoso Springs; three sisters, Helen Maxwell of Somerville and Reba Elders and Nina Maxwell, both of Lacey’s Spring; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
